Chrome 40, major upgrade for Android Users
Just a day after updating Chrome for iOS, Google has announced the release of Chrome 40 for Android, bringing in an updated page info and content settings UI, as well as several bug fixes and performance improvements and few other useful changes as following:
- New bookmarks manager available in flags
- Larger address bar with overflow button, if you have Lollipop and merged tabs and recent apps
- New zoom behavior for sites with fixed headers
- More things work when you're offline
- Close all tabs shortcut added for tablets
- New view/copy URL behavior.
You can grab the updated browser app from the Play Store – the update is rolling out slowly so it may take time to hit your device and in case you don't want to wait for the update to be pushed by google into your device, you can download it from here.
