Another Samsung Galaxy S6 teaser goes live, check it out

Samsung released yet another teaser for its upcoming flagship smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S6 will debut in a tad over a week, on March 1 in Barcelona.
The latest teaser clip hints that the upcoming handset will feature metal body with no borders. The latter could be a subtle reference to the much rumored Edge variant of the smartphone, or a nod to the design of its top and bottom (see the image above).

Latest Samsung Galaxy S6 teaser is about materials and shapes

Samsung is continuing its teaser campaign for the upcoming Galaxy S6. The third video in the series was released today. It follows the previous ones about the phone’s camera and performance.
This time around the short video is all about materials and shapes. So, given all the leaks and rumors we’ve seen lately, it kind of feels obvious that Samsung is teasing a metal build for the device. That said, keep in mind that at no point in the promo is that explicitly stated. Otherwise it would be more than a teaser, wouldn’t it?
At the end of the video we (barely) get to see what looks like the silhouette of the smartphone, seen from the side. And sure enough the frame does look like it’s made from metal, but we’ll only be 100% certain once Samsung does the grand unveil on March 1.

Until then, do expect more such teasers to pop up. After all, this is the company’s biggest announcement of the year, so it stands to reason that it would want to build up the hype. As a quick reminder, the Galaxy S6 should sport a 5″ or 5.1″ QHD (2,560×1,440) Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 16MP rear camera, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 chipset with octa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, and a 2,600 mAh battery. It will probably run Android 5.0 Lollipop from day one.

New Samsung Galaxy S6 teaser promises performance

The second video in the #TheNextGalaxy series is out and it's as vague as ever, but it seems to promise fast performance ("The faster I am, the more that gets done") and long battery life ("And the more time I can give to others").
The previous Samsung Galaxy S6 teaser video focused on the camera and changed the profile pic of the Samsung Mobile account to the outline of a camera module.

This new video brings a different sigil – a lightning bolt. You could argue this is "lightning fast" and connect it to the chipset performance – Samsung's own Exynos 7420 according to rumors. Another way to read this is wireless charging, we've heard talk that the Galaxy S6 will have only a 2,600mAh battery and use wireless charging to offset the small-ish capacity.
The new flagship will be officially unveiled at the beginning of March at the MWC in Barcelona, but that's not for two more weeks. We should see several other teaser videos until then.

Samsung's TheNextGalaxy video teases the Galaxy S6 camera

The new Samsung Galaxy flagship dropped a teasing hint on Twitter - a short video that talks about "great vision" and a "unique view" and finishes with the silhouette of a camera module. The video itself is pretty abstract, the camera moves through a dark tunnel and there's light at the end of it.
We could debate the symbolism of that – the Galaxy S6 camera will allegedly have a 20MP sensor with optical image stabilization that should do well in low light conditions. There was even talk of RAW shooting with complete manual controls.

Anyway, it's not just the video – Samsung Mobile's Twitter account has been redubbed TheNextGalaxy and the profile pic has been changed to the camera module silhouette, right in front of the teasing curveof what's most likely the Galaxy S Edge.
The culmination of this campaign will come on March 1 in Barcelona during Samsung's Unpacked event
